Kalgan, South West

Kalgan is a rural district within the City of Albany, which is located within the South West region of Western Australia.

The area derived its name from the nearby Kalgan River, which meanders through the state and empties into the Oyster Harbour. The river is one of the main tourist attractions in the area, with a number of tour companies offering river cruises on it. There are a lot of pleasant views that await those who take these cruises, with the river running through fertile farmlands, verdant forests, and granite rock formations.
