Denmark
Denmark, South West
Denmark is a coastal town located south of Western Australia. It is also located along the banks of the Denmark River. The town was named in honor of Dr. Alexander Denmark.
The area is a well-known wine-producing region and there are two wineries located within Denmark, the Goundrey's and the Tinglewood Wines.
For those seeking more than the usual wine products, there's the Bartholomews Meadery, which is located along the South Coast Highway. Apart from honeywines, the establishment also produces honey liqueur, honey ice cream, artworks, crafts, and glass beehive.
When locals and visitors wish to have picnics, they often head out to the banks of the Denmark River, where facilities for barbecues are provided. Read more...
