Geeveston

South Coast, Tasmania

Geeveston is a small town located in the southern part of Tasmania. Situated along the Huon River, the town was named after William Geeves, one of the early settlers in the area. The river provides an ideal setting for outdoor activities like walking and having picnics. It is also ideal for boating and canoeing.

The town is also a gateway to the Hatz Mountains National Park, where visitors can enjoy nature in all its glory by following its walking tracks and nature trails.
