Dover is a town located in Houn Valley in Tasmania. It is also situated at the head of Esperance Bay.The calm waters of the bay provide ideal settings for swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. On any given day, small boats dot the town's foreshores and provide plenty of opportunities for sailing, either to go fishing or sightseeing. Boats can also be hired to go to the nearby islands of Faith, Hope, and Charity. Faith Island, in particular, is the location of some historic graves that are worth visiting.

The town boasts of a substantial fishing industry, with the largest Atlantic salmon farm in the southern hemisphere located in Dover. Read more...
