The most famous landmark in this area is the Seal Bay Conservation Park. One’s trip to Kangaroo Island is not complete without visiting this park. The travelers would be able to watch sea lions on the stretch of the beach. People can join a guided tour to view these Australian sea lions up close while the animals are in their natural habitat. Tourists would be able to delightfully see these animals take care of their pups, rest and play on the sandy beach after being at sea. This would be the same as watching an interesting documentary unfold in front of the people’s eyes.
The tourists of Seal Bay can stroll along the 400-meter pathway to the viewing platform. One would be able to see a Humpback whale’s skeleton that is more often than not noticeable from the boardwalk. The pathway and the viewing platform offer fantastic opportunities for visitors to hang back, watch the sea lions surf the waves, and simply take pleasure in the striking coastal scenery. The entrance tickets for the conservation park can be bought from the Seal Bay Visitor Information Centre and this is where tourists can also look around for souvenirs and other gift items. The access to the colony of the sea lion and the beach is only through a guided tour.
