Kangaroo Island in South Australia is a massive island – the third largest in Australia after Tasmania and Melville Island, and seven times the size of Singapore. The major towns on Kangaroo Island, like American River, Kingscote and Penneshaw, comprise of many places of tourists’ interest in the area. For instance, American River shelters Pelican Lagoon, which is a bird sanctuary where you can watch pelican feeding.
