Victor Harbor is a city located on the southern coast of South Australia, several kilometers south of Adelaide. It is part of the Fleurieu Peninsula. The city was named after HMS Victor, a ship used to survey Victor Harbor during the early 19th century.

Some visitors from Goolwa come to the city riding the Cockle Train, a steam train that runs only during holidays.

Most tourists come to Victor Harbor to ride the horse-drawn tram to Granite Island. This tram service utilizes six Clydesdale horses that were maintained in their peak condition to carry their load easily.
