Business Facilities	Shingley Beach Resort has a dedicated and up to date conference centre. Our venue is purpose designed for groups from 6 to 100. Equipment and full catering can be provided. Ideal for conferences or weddings. A full range of secretarial services are also available for our corporate guest including Broadband, typing and fax services.
Car Parking Details	All apartments have off-street under cover parking. 3 and 2 Bedroom apartments have a lock up garage. Boat parking area also available.
Check In Instructions	Check in is 2.00 pm. Reception hours are 8.30am to 6.00pm. Please make prior arrangements if arriving or departing outside these times.
Children and Extra Guests Details	Children aged 2 & under are free of charge using existing bedding however this must be within the maximum occupancy of the room type booked as specified in the advertised room description - cots available for hire. Child 3 -14 years inclusive - adult rates apply. Maximum numbers apply per apartment.
Things To Do	The Whitsundays are renowned as a sailing paradise. Take a sailing or motor boat cruise. Scuba dive or snorkel the Great Barrier Reef or an island bay. Take a scenic flight, parasail, do a tandem skydive, join a crocodile safari, go whale watching (seasonal) or visit one of our many islands. Walk through the Conway National Park or laze around the Airlie Beach Lagoon. Our tour booking office can recommend something for every taste.
Travel Directions	If driving, turn off the Bruce Highway at Proserpine to Airlie Beach. Travelling on Shute Harbour Road for approximately 20 minutes, pass through two sets of traffic lights & over the hill. Turn left at the Abel Point Marina/Shingley Beach sign and then sharp left into Shingley Drive. Shingley Beach Resort is the first building on the left overlooking the marina. If flying into Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine), Whitsunday Shuttle Services can provide a door to door coach. This service must be PRE-BOOKED . For your convenience, providing your flight details to Shingley Beach Resort, we can arrange your transfers. If flying into Hamilton Island, Resort Connections can transfer you to Abel Point Marina & a further 5 minute walk along the boardwalk will bring you to Shingley Beach Resort. This must be PRE-BOOKED. For your convenience, providing your flight details to Shingley Beach Resort, we can arrange your transfers. If flying into Mackay Airport we recommend you PRE-BOOK a hire car as the desk is not manned unless there are bookings. There is no direct coach transfer to Airlie Beach from the airport. Alternatively, you can arrange travel with Greyhound-McAffertys coach line.
