The Cairns Airport is about an hour's drive away and there are regular shuttle services to and from Port Douglas. The nearby rainforest provides a lot of opportunities for bushwalking, animal viewing, and animal watching. A Skyrail cable ride over forest canopy can also be experienced in Kuranda, an hour away from the property. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park is also easily explored with day trips and tours. The property is also minutes away from restaurants, cafes, and shops that abound in Port Douglas. The main stretch of white sand Four Mile Beach is also accessed after a few minutes of strolling, providing opportunities for guests to indulge in water-based sports.
