Sunshine Coast is home to a variety of wildlife and marine life. To catch a glimpse of them, tourists visit the esteemed Australia Zoo, which is home to the world-renowned Irwin couple and a wide variety of animals. Sea creature lovers can visit the Underwater World, which houses a number of rare and beautiful underwater species. Linking south of Noosa Heads and the Noosa National Park is the serene suburb of Sunshine Beach. The relaxed and laidback lifestyle of Sunshine Beach makes it ideal for a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of hectic city life.

A small hinterland town on the Bruce Highway, with an even smaller population of about 1000 people. Welcome to Yandina, the famous 'Ginger Town' of Sunshine Coast. It is believed to be the first town of Sunshine Coast. The name 'Yandina' comes from 'yan' (to go), and 'dinna' (feet).

The beautiful long white beach and its proximity to the Maroochy River Mouth makes the place ideal for a rich fishing catch. The beach area is also a hit among the surfers enjoying friendly waves.

The best place to visit here is the Old Woman or Mudjimba Island.
