Sunshine Coast is home to a variety of wildlife and marine life. To catch a glimpse of them, tourists visit the esteemed Australia Zoo, which is home to the world-renowned Irwin couple and a wide variety of animals. Sea creature lovers can visit the Underwater World, which houses a number of rare and beautiful underwater species. The Sunshine Coast is also where the Aussie World, the Big Pineapple, the Buderim Ginger Factory, and the Majestic Theatre stand graciously proud.

Sunshine Coast boasts of its natural attractions. It has a wide range of national parks that are appealing to tourists from all over. Alexandra Headland is a laidback seaside township located on the Sunshine Strip in the Sunshine Coast. Sandwiched between beautiful Maroochydore in the north and gorgeous Mooloolaba in the south, Alexandra Headland enjoys a healthy tourist inflow throughout the year.

The heart of Sunshine Coast, with Caloundra to the south and Noosa to the north, Maroochydore is situated at the intersection between the ocean and the Maroochy River.

Doonan is a small suburb located in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland just before you enter Noosa. Doonan is also an alternative name for Noosa Valley. It is widely believed that the name `Doonan' is derived from the Aboriginal word for leaf.

Linking south of Noosa Heads and the Noosa National Park is the serene suburb of Sunshine Beach. The relaxed and laidback lifestyle of Sunshine Beach makes it ideal for a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of hectic city life.

A small hinterland town on the Bruce Highway, with an even smaller population of about 1000 people. Welcome to Yandina, the famous 'Ginger Town' of Sunshine Coast. It is believed to be the first town of Sunshine Coast. The name 'Yandina' comes from 'yan' (to go), and 'dinna' (feet).

There are a lot of islands that make up Australia, but there’s only one that’s directly connected to the mainland. This is called Bribie Island. This island belongs to Sunshine Coast, Queensland. To get there, you can pass through the bridge that connects it to Moreton Bay.

Maleny is a town found in Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. Its nearest popular city if Brisbane. This suburb is mainly characterized by a lot of green, with its verdant hills and the Glasshouse Mountains. Most of the people in this area are known for their talent in arts and crafts.
