A good example will be the Kurrimine Beach, where fringe corals are just about everywhere. Several of them are near shores and are ideal for snorkel lovers. Of course, nothing still beats diving into the Great Barrier Reef, the largest you can find in the world.

A much quieter and simpler beach is the Mission Beach. There aren’t any high-class restaurants and hotels in the area, but if you’re looking for privacy or want to immerse yourself to simple living, this is the perfect place to be. It also boasts of a very long stretch of coastlines lined with trees.

You can then proceed to the islands of Bedarra and Dunk. The roads are practically narrow, but it’s just excellent since the best way to explore them is by walking. This is how you can properly observe the small and laidback villages that occupy the area. It’s also a good starting point if you want to move on to Hinkchinbrook Island, the biggest national park in Australia, or to other uninhabited ones. If you want to camp there, however, you may want to ask permits first from the government.

Cardwell, an island located at the southern portion of Central Coast Queensland, offers the most delectable seafood meals. Majority of its people are engaged in fishing, crabbing, and prawning. It also means that there are small harbors where you can dock your yacht while you try their cafes and restaurants.

Another interesting place to visit in Central Coast Queensland is Mackay, which is widely known for its secluded beaches and communities with lesser people. If you want to get away from a lot of things, this is the place to be. The city, however, is rich with arts and culture, evident by the art deco styles on its buildings and other establishments.

The Artspace Mackay functions as a museum and an art gallery. There are various mementos that are reminiscent of the culture and heritage of the Australian aborigines and early foreign settlers in the area. You can also travel to Fossick, where you can see a real coal mine right at Blair Athol. You can also take a tour in the gem and gold fields, as well as in other rural villages like Moranbah, Clermont, and Nebo.

A number of the restaurants in Mackay are open for community and corporate bookings. You can hold workshops and seminars in their 50-people-capacity rooms. They can even provide cocktails after hours. If you’re traveling alone, on the other hand, there is a tour guide who can show you around the city and give you insights about the history of the locality.

Rockhampton is a city located on the banks of the Fitzroy River, some 26 miles inland from the eastern coast of Australia. The city that was once known for substantial gold mining is now considered as the Beef Capital of Australia.

North Rockhampton is seen in the central coast of Australia. This location is known as the principal beef supplier of Australia, so we can just imagine how much beef meat this area has to offer.

The Bundaberg and the Coral Isles encompasses a multitude of great experiences and is a great holiday location that offers country, coast and island experiences.

Gladstone, Queensland's biggest port, lies between the majestic Calliope and Boyne Rivers. These two waters lead deep into the water harbour, for which the economic industrial development that Gladstone enjoys stem from.
