Visit the World Heritage-listed Mount Warning, a sacred place of great significance to the people of the Bundjalung Nation. Mount Warning is the remnant central plug of an ancient volcano and is rich in culture and spirit. Take an 8.8km walk around the Mountain from Breakfast Creek through the rainforests to reach breath taking views atop the summit platform. Picnic facilities are in the area to make a day of fit!
At the most eastern point of Australia sites the famous Cape Byron Lighthouse. Built in 1901 the Lighthouse cost £10,042 and is built in the James Barnet style, by his successor, Charles Harding using concrete blocks rendered inside and out. Its a well known spot for whale watching as whales are often seen going past the cost line.
