Bomaderry is a town in the South Coast region of New South Wales, located in the northern banks of the Shoalhaven River, across the city of Nowra.

The gardens are also the departure point for the Bomaderry Creek Walk, which leads to Bernie's Lookout, a vantage point where the beautiful scenery of the town and the river can be enjoyed. Taking the whole family to the Nowra Wildlife Park will surely yield some unforgettable memories. There’s the Silos Winery and Restaurant along Princes Highway, the Cambewarra Estate Wines on Illaroo Road, and further north is the Jasper Valley Winery, located along Croziers Road.

South east of the town is the village of Terara, where the Malu Vale Stud is located. This establishment offers bush tail rides to interested individuals, while horse riding lessons are also available for those wishing to try this experience for the first time. Exploring the banks of the Shoalhaven River can be made more exciting and memorable when done on a carriage, hired from the Terara Carriage Rides.

Further out to the coast is the Comerong Island Reserve, created when a canal was dug by convicts during the 19th century. This reserve boasts of a wide variety of birdlife that may be glimpsed while visitors are having their picnics in two separate designated areas. Access to the island is through a daily ferry service.
