Orange is a city in New South Wales, located in the central eastern part of the state. The place-name was attributed to Prince William of Orange, a monarch in the Netherlands.

Due to its altitude, the city is known to experience significant snowfall during winters. The rest of the year, however, Orange enjoys an agreeable climate, with not so hot summers and cool autumns and springs, an added plus to anyone wishing to drop by and explore this inland city.

The city boasts of several parks within its boundaries. Cook Park, along Summer Street, boasts of spectacular scenery during early autumn, with its numerous European trees that were planted more than a century ago. Read more...
