Gold Coast Airport: Coolangatta Domestic Airport
Gold Coast Airport (OOL), or Coolangatta Airport, is an Australian domestic and international airport on the Gold Coast, situated in the suburb of Coolangatta. Over two million passengers a year use the airport.
It is anticipated that a railway station will be constructed at the airport when the Gold Coast line is extended. This will make Brisbane Airport and Gold Coast Airport the first in Australia to be connected by rail.

Melbourne - Jetstar and Virgin Blue fly many times a day to Melbourne
Adelaide - Jetstar and Virgin Blue both fly daily sevices to Adelaide
Canberra - Virgin Blue offers several flights a week to Canberra
Newcastle - Jetstar and Virgin Blue both offer several weekly flights to Newcastle
Cairns - Australian Airlines operates a domestic flight each day
Gold Coast International Flights (to New Zealand)
Freedom Air flies to Hamilton, Christchurch, Dunedin, Auckland and Wellington.
Pacific Blue flies to Christchurch and Auckland.
Gold Coast International Flights (to Asia & Europe)
Australian Airlines flies from Gold Coast Airport via Cairns to destinations in Asia including Japan (Fukuoka, Osaka and Nagoya), Hong Kong and Singapore. From November to March Cairns connection to Sapporo, Japan is available.
It is possible to fly to most destinations in Europe via Singapore connecting with Qantas or Oneworld alliance partners.
